Mariel Travis Peterson has extensive experience in administrative and analytical roles within the financial sector. Currently serving as an Executive Assistant at Lone Star Funds since April 2013, Mariel previously held positions as an Associate at US Policy Metrics from January 2012 to December 2017, contributing to economic and public policy research for asset managers and hedge funds. Mariel also worked at UBS Investment Bank from June 2005 to December 2011 as both a Business Analyst and Executive Assistant to Senator Phil Gramm, Vice Chairman. Earlier experience includes the role of Office Manager at IPsoft from June 2003 to June 2005. Mariel obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Marketing Management from the Pamplin College of Business at Virginia Polytechnic Institute & State University, completing studies from 1999 to 2003, and is a graduate of Brandywine High School, class of 1999.
