Tessa Truex has a strong background in finance and real estate. Tessa began their career at Lehman Brothers as an Analyst in Investment Management, where they worked from 2005 to 2008. After that, they joined HNW Family Office as a Vice President, focusing on corporate finance and M&A in the transportation and logistics sectors. From 2011 to 2012, Tessa worked as a Summer Associate in Commercial Real Estate at Deutsche Bank.
In 2012, they joined Lone Star Funds as a Managing Director, where they originated US CRE investments for the fund's commercial real estate platform. In addition, they supervised the seniors housing investment strategy and oversaw the deployment of capital across diverse asset classes.
More recently, Tessa became a Board Member of Provu in 2019. Overall, Tessa Truex has extensive experience in finance, real estate, and investment management.
Tessa Truex received their Bachelor of Arts degree in Economics from Middlebury College in 2005. Tessa further pursued their education by completing a Master of Business Administration degree with a concentration in Real Estate from The Wharton School between 2010 and 2012.
