Kregg Slakey has a diverse work experience in the financial industry, particularly in agriculture and rural lending. Kregg started their career in 1996 as Vice President at AgriLand Farm Credit and worked there for 10 years. Later, they joined Texas Heritage National Bank as Vice President, Loan Officer, and Branch Operations Manager, specializing in agricultural and rural lending. In 2012, they briefly worked as Vice President at First Bank Roxton, assisting in daily operations. Kregg also worked at Farm Country Inc as Sales/Finance personnel from 2013 to 2014. From 2010 to 2014, they owned Delta Collateral Services, performing inspections and appraisals of livestock and equipment for financial institutions. Currently, Kregg is Vice President and Branch Manager at Lone Star Ag Credit since 2014.
Kregg Slakey obtained their high school education at Cooper High School from 1988 to 1992. Kregg then pursued their Associate of Science degree in Agricultural Economics at Paris Junior College from 1992 to 1994. Following that, from 1994 to 1995, Kregg attended Tarleton State University to study Agricultural Economics. Kregg later obtained their Bachelor of Science degree in Agricultural Economic Business from Texas A&M University-Commerce, completing their studies in 1996.
