Caren Vercilien

Caren Vercilien (Nelson) has a diverse professional background with experience in sports administration and business development. Currently serving as a Recreational Administrator at Lonestar Soccer Club since June 2023, Caren previously held roles as Administrative Assistant at THE TIMOTHY CENTER, INC. and Business Development Representative at Braze. Notably, Caren worked with the Fellowship of Christian Athletes from 2018 to March 2021, focusing on the engagement and empowerment of coaches and athletes. A Graduate Assistant at the University of Mississippi, Caren contributed to player evaluations and performance sessions. Early experiences include a summer internship with the United States Senate Committee on Environment and Public Works and serving as a Division I student-athlete for the University of Oklahoma women's soccer team. Caren earned a Bachelor of Arts in Environmental Studies from the University of Oklahoma in 2017.
