Angela Merrill

Angela Merrill currently serves as the Dance Director for the Dance Department at Lakewood High School within the Long Beach Unified School District, a position held since August 2015. Previous experience includes serving as an Adjunct Faculty Instructor for ASL at Long Beach City College from August 2016 to August 2017 and various roles at MMSdance from September 2001 to December 2015, including Office Manager and Dance Instructor. Angela has also worked as a substitute teacher in multiple districts from 2014 to 2015 and held a position as a Camp Counselor for the Orange County Department of Education. Additionally, experience as Character Operations Lead at Disneyland Resort spanned from October 2004 to October 2011. Educational qualifications include a PhD in Educational Technology Leadership from Concordia University Chicago and a Master's degree in Education Technology from Concordia University Irvine, among other degrees in Deaf Studies and Curriculum Design.
