Edward Samuels

Edward Samuels has extensive experience in the Long Beach Unified School District, serving in various capacities since 1994. Currently, Edward holds the position of Director for High Schools, following a tenure as Principal and Assistant Principal from 2015 to 2020. Prior roles include Assistant Director of the Office of Curriculum, Instruction, and Professional Development, as well as a Middle School Math Advisor and teacher for Algebra, Pre-Algebra, and Science. Edward's educational background includes a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from the University of Southern California and a Master of Arts in Educational Leadership from California State University-Dominguez Hills.
