Karen Tzong

Karen Tzong is a seasoned management analyst with extensive experience in educational research and engineering. Currently serving at Long Beach Unified School District since June 2022, Karen previously held various roles at Santa Ana Unified School District from September 2014 to June 2022, including Coordinator of Research and Evaluation and Educational Research Analyst. Earlier roles include Graduate School Fellow at Education Pioneers and Senior Project Engineer at Honeywell Aerospace, where responsibilities included managing project schedules and budgets for Environmental Control System products. Karen's career began as a Supervisor at UCLA Covel Commons Math/Science Tutorials, overseeing the tutoring of over 1500 students.
