Maria Calimquim Yepez

Maria Calimquim Yepez has extensive experience in the Long Beach Unified School District, beginning in 1998 and progressing to the position of Principal, a role held since September 2011. Prior positions within the district include Assistant Principal, Fourth Grade Teacher, Intervention Specialist, and Title 1 Program Facilitator, among others. Maria’s educational background includes a Master of Arts in Educational Administration from California State University Dominguez Hills and a Bachelor of Arts in Sociology from California State University Long Beach.
