Karen Guadalupi

Karen Guadalupi, CPRC, has extensive experience in the medical billing and claims auditing field, with a career that spans from 1993 to the present. Currently serving as a Claims Auditor at Long Island Plastic Surgical Group since March 2010, Karen is responsible for auditing operative and pathological reports, as well as ensuring accuracy in CPT and ICD:9 coding prior to submission to insurance companies. Previously, Karen held positions such as Account Representative at Mt Sinai, Northshore Medical Group, where responsibilities included high-volume payment posting and balance billing, and Medical Billing Manager at Cosmetique Dermatology, where the focus was on billing and collection for cosmetic procedures. Earlier roles included Billing Manager at Northshore Dermatology, where Karen supervised billing functions and staff, and Billing Clerk at Harris, Lukash & Greenberg M.D.P.C., handling coding and collections. Karen has a background in Accounting Technology, having studied at Nassau Community College.
