Carmen Fuentealba

Carmen Fuentealba is an experienced academic leader in veterinary medicine, currently serving as the Dean of the College of Veterinary Medicine at Long Island University since August 2017. Prior roles include Executive Associate Dean for Teaching and Learning and Professor at Ross University School of Veterinary Medicine, as well as various leadership positions at the University of Calgary, Western University of Health Sciences, University of Prince Edward Island, and Texas A&M University. Carmen Fuentealba holds a Doctor of Philosophy in Veterinary Pathology from the University of Liverpool, a Doctor of Veterinary Medicine from Universidad Austral de Chile, and a Master of Science in Animal Pathology from Universidad de Chile.
