Dalia Fahmy

Program Director, International Relations & Diplomacy at Long Island University

Dalia Fahmy serves as the Program Director for International Relations & Diplomacy at Long Island University since September 2017, where a $300,000 UISFL grant was awarded by the US Department of Education to enhance the program with a focus on language. Prior experience includes roles as Associate Professor at the Center for Global Policy, Senior Fellow at Rutgers Center for the Study of Genocide & Human Rights, and Assistant Professor at Drew University, along with various visiting positions at Long Island University. Dalia Fahmy holds a Doctor of Philosophy and a Master of Arts in Political Science and Government from Rutgers University, a Master of Arts in International Relations and Affairs from New York University, and a Bachelor's degree in Political Science and Government from New York University. Additionally, a Graduate Certificate in Gender Studies was obtained from Rutgers University.
