Elena Khachaturyan

Elena Khachaturyan, PharmD, BPS serves as the Assistant Director for Site and Preceptor Development at Long Island University since June 2021, while also working as a Clinical Pharmacist at NewYork-Presbyterian Hospital since November 2020. Previously, Elena completed a PGY-1 Pharmacy Practice Residency at Mount Sinai Morningside and West from July 2019 to June 2020, where services included decentralized clinical pharmacy for various patient populations, pharmacokinetic consults, and collaboration with healthcare teams. Earlier experience at NewYork-Presbyterian Hospital as a Pharmacy Intern spanned from June 2016 to June 2019, focusing on medication reconciliation, patient education, and training new interns. Elena holds a Doctor of Pharmacy degree from Long Island University, earned in 2019, and a Bachelor of Professional Studies in Pharmaceutical Sciences from the same institution, completed in 2017, along with an Associate of Science in Mathematics and Science from The City University of New York.
