Jennifer Scott Miceli, PhD, serves as a Full Professor and Adjunct Faculty at Long Island University since September 2001, where responsibilities include directing Long Island Sound Vocal Jazz Ensembles, teaching Secondary Choral Methods, and supervising student teachers. As the former Director of Music Education, Jennifer oversaw the music education program, taught various courses, and founded the LIU Post Women's Choir. Additional roles include Musical Director for Huntington Choral Society Inc., Choral Adjudicator for WorldStrides Heritage Performance, and Section Leader at Christ Church Oyster Bay. Jennifer is also the Founding Director of Belle Voci Intergenerational Choral Society, which supports cancer prevention through music. Previous leadership as Department of Music Chair at LIU Post involved curriculum development and faculty management. Jennifer holds a PhD in Music Education from the Eastman School of Music, complemented by a Master's Degree in Music Education and a Bachelor's Degree in Applied Flute and Music Education from esteemed institutions.
