Joseph Vernace

Joseph Vernace currently serves as the Chief of Student Experience at Long Island University, where leadership of cross-functional teams has resulted in significant increases in applications and enrollment. Prior roles at Long Island University include Associate Dean of Students and Director of Greek Life & Student Involvement, with responsibilities spanning holistic student advising, residential life, and student engagement. Additional experience includes serving as Associate Director at Stony Brook University's Health Sciences Office of Student Services and various positions in campus life and residence management at institutions such as Molloy College and SUNY Adirondack. Joseph Vernace holds a Doctor of Education in Transformational Leadership from Long Island University, a Master of Arts in Higher Education Administration from Stony Brook University, and a Bachelor of Science in Biology from Adelphi University.
