Matthew Cairo

Matthew Cairo, MBA, currently serves as a Senior Sales Representative at The Scotts Miracle-Gro Company, where responsibilities include collaborating with store managers to optimize product placement and enhance sales performance. Previously, Matthew held multiple leadership roles in the Student Government Association at Long Island University, including Treasurer and Committee Chair, overseeing budgets for student organizations and fostering student engagement. Additional experience includes a Junior Partner role in the LIU Student Investment Fund and a marketing internship at NESCOR Company. Matthew holds a Master of Business Administration from Long Island University, as well as a diverse undergraduate background featuring degrees in Economics, Finance, Business Administration, Marketing, International Relations, and Political Science, completed with honors. Early education was achieved at West Islip Senior High School, earning a Regents Diploma with advanced distinction.
