Stephanie Kochorek has been a professional writer and marketing professional since ’04. After graduating with honours from the Miami Ad school she started work at Venables Bell & Partners in San Francisco. During her time there she helped create multi-faceted campaigns across their client roster, including A&E, HBO, Audi, Conagra, and PG&E. After three years and a notable encounter with Gene Simmons she said goodbye to the Golden Gate Bridge and headed north. She relocated to Calgary where she worked at WAX creating award-winning creative campaigns for clients like SAIT, Fas Gas and the Calgary Society for Persons with Disabilities. From there she went to Rethink, an agency which has consistently been recognized as one of the best in Canada. At Rethink she was responsible for the creation and execution of many campaigns including award-winning work for Science World and Coast Capital Savings. She currently sits on the Board of Directors for Long View, one of North America’s largest privately-owned IT companies, and also works as a freelancer writer and marketing advisor for a variety of Canadian businesses.
