Sophia Cacciatore

Sophia Cacciatore is a seasoned professional in patient advocacy and life sciences, currently serving as a Board Member at Dup15q Alliance since April 2023. At Ovid Therapeutics since March 2020, Sophia has been instrumental in developing and executing strategies for patient advocacy within rare epilepsy communities, fostering relationships to support the advancement of medicines. Previously, as a Senior Project Manager at the New York City Economic Development Corporation from September 2017 to March 2020, Sophia implemented programs to boost the life sciences sector in New York City, including establishing a $10 million fund for biotech companies. Earlier roles included Project Manager at the Biotechnology Industry Organization, where insights on patient-focused drug development policies were shared, and a Government Affairs Fellow at BGR Group. Sophia's career began as a Program Manager at Hands to Love. Sophia holds a Bachelor's degree in Telecommunication Management from the University of Florida.
