Paul Laursen is a seasoned technical consultant and operations executive with extensive experience in the manufacturing industry. Currently self-employed since March 2015, Paul also serves as the Vice President of Operations at Longboard Products from September 2017 to the present. Prior to this role, Paul worked at Apex Extrusions as a key contributor from January 2011 to March 2015 and held the position of Technical Manager at Vitrum Industries from January 1997 to March 2015. Paul possesses a strong background in technical management and operational leadership, underscored by a foundational education in AFS.

All Longboard materials are created in-house, starting from the aluminum extrusion, and ending with the finishing touches, packaging and shipping to site. We’re also committed to engaging in third-party testing and certifications for fire safety, thermal efficiency, wind loading, product health, and environmental impact and durability testing against weathering.
