Yenquis Fermin has over 13 years of work experience, beginning in 2007. From 2007 to 2011, they worked at Pritchard Sports & Entertainment as a Day-Core Manager and Team Leader/Post-Event Assistant Manager. In 2011, they moved to Crothall Healthcare as an Operations Manager, where they oriented, developed and supervised a staff of 18 people. Yenquis then moved to Essex County College in 2014 as an Assistant Advisor. In 2015, they joined DHL Supply Chain as an Operations Manager, where they increased throughput from 5.4 to 5.57, leading to a 3% increase in productivity. Finally, in 2017, they joined Longbow Advantage as a Business Architect, Sr. Business Analyst, and Functional Analyst. In 2008, they also worked at Restaurant Marketing Associates as a Server/Runner/Bar-back/Floater + Back of the House, where they were responsible for completing tasks related to stocking, replenishing, cleaning, maintenance, and preparation of beverages.

Yenquis Fermin has an extensive education history. In 2004, they obtained a Bachelor of Engineering (B.E.) in Industrial Engineering from Universidad Autónoma de Santo Domingo. Yenquis then attended Essex County College from 2012 to 2013, where they obtained an Associate of Science (A.S.) in Business Administration. In 2014, they earned a Bachelor's Degree in Supply Chain Management & Marketing Sciences from Rutgers Business School. In addition to their degrees, Yenquis has obtained three certifications: Rutgers Advanced Procurement Certification from Rutgers University in December 2014, and Warehouse Management Functional Consultant and Warehouse Management Technical Consultant from Blue Yonder in July 2020.
