Jarrett Rice

Vice President For Business Development at Longenecker & Associates

Jarrett Rice has extensive work experience in various roles, primarily in the fields of business development, project management, and environmental science. Jarrett is currently working as the Vice President for Business Development at Longenecker & Associates. Prior to this, they worked for Bechtel National Inc as a Business Development Manager from 2014 to 2022. Jarrett also served as a Six Sigma Master Black Belt at Bechtel Power Corporation from 2012 to 2014, where they trained and mentored multiple Black Belt candidates. Before that, they held the position of Environmental Project Manager at Los Alamos National Laboratory from 2009 to 2012, where they were responsible for program planning and solving technical issues. Jarrett worked as a Six Sigma Black Belt Lead and Environmental Scientist at Bechtel / Savannah River Site from 2001 to 2009, supporting process improvement projects and providing support for soil and groundwater closure projects. Earlier in their career, they worked as an Environmental Scientist at HRP Associates, Inc. from 1997 to 2000 and as a Project Scientist at Froehling & Robertson, Inc. from 1992 to 1994.

Jarrett Rice, MBB obtained a BS in Biology from Erskine College in 1992. Jarrett then went on to complete an MS in Environmental Toxicology at Clemson University, earning their degree in 1997.
