Scott Long

Scott Long currently serves as a Senior Quality Assurance Programmatic Specialist at Longenecker & Associates, Inc., overseeing the construction, turnover, startup, and operation of the Uranium Processing Facility at Y-12, with a focus on contractor compliance and program management. Previously, Scott was involved in various roles, including an independent management assessment for SONGS Decommissioning Solutions, a Senior Nuclear Performance Improvement Specialist at Nawah Energy Company in the UAE, and a Corrective Action Program Mentor at Sirius Technical Services. Scott's extensive experience also includes leading project closure and power ascension tests at BHI Energy. Before retirement from the Tennessee Valley Authority in 2012, Scott held several managerial positions and contributed as a Mechanical Engineer. Scott possesses a Master’s degree in Engineering Management and a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering from The University of Alabama in Huntsville.
