Sara Richardson

Sara Richardson, MBA, has a diverse work experience in finance and accounting. Sara is currently serving as the Associate Director of Finance & Accounting at Longfellow Real Estate Partners, LLC, starting in May 2020. Prior to that, they worked as a Senior Project Accountant at LStar from April 2014 to May 2020. In this role, they were responsible for project accounting and financial reporting for multiple land development projects. From September 2012 to April 2014, they worked as an Accounting Supervisor at Ply Gem, where they supervised a department of accounting staff and coordinated financial reporting activities. Sara also has experience at Ryland Homes as an Acting Assistant Controller/Staff Accountant from an unknown start date to July 2012, and at Yankelovich as an Accountant in 2004-2005.

Sara Richardson, MBA, obtained their Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree from the University of South Carolina Darla Moore School of Business, from 2006 to 2009. Prior to their MBA, they completed their Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Accounting and Finance from North Carolina State University, from 2002 to 2006.

In addition to their formal education, Sara has also acquired additional certifications. In March 2021, they completed the "Hiring an Employee for Managers" certification from LinkedIn. Furthermore, in the same month and institution, they obtained the "Unconscious Bias" certification.
