Varun Gupta

Varun Gupta has a diverse work experience spanning across various companies and roles. Varun started their career at the Backman Biophotonics Laboratory in 2011 as a Graduate Research Associate and worked there until 2014. In 2014, they joined L.E.K. Consulting as an Associate Consultant in the MedTech Practice and stayed with the company until 2017. During this time, they also worked as the Lead for Strategy & Economics at Uptake from 2017 to 2018. Afterwards, Varun returned to L.E.K. Consulting as a Consultant in the MedTech Practice and held this position until 2020. Currently, they are working as a Principal at Longitude Capital, starting in March 2020.

Varun Gupta completed their education in Biomedical Engineering at Northwestern University. Varun first obtained a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in 2013, and then pursued a Master of Science (M.S.) degree, which they completed in 2014.
