Alex Sanchez

Vice President at Longpoint Realty Partners

Alexander Sanchez joined Longpoint in 2021 as a Vice President and currently focuses on acquisitions in the Southeast region. He has 10 years of commercial real estate investment experience, primarily in acquisitions and dispositions.

Prior to joining Longpoint, Mr. Sanchez worked as an assistant vice president at PGIM Real Estate where he was a member of the transactions team. Mr. Sanchez was responsible for underwriting, negotiating, and closing new investment opportunities and joint ventures. During his eight years at PGIM Real Estate, he led or assisted in the closing of over $2 billion in transactions, including core, value-add, and development opportunities across seven funds. While at PGIM, he also served as the asset manager for a $250 million portfolio that consisted of assets throughout Mexico and Chile. Prior to joining PGIM, he worked as an acquisitions analyst at Brilla Group, a Miami based real estate private equity firm focused on acquiring hotels and resorts in South Florida, South America, Mexico, and the Caribbean. During his tenure at Brilla, Mr. Sanchez was responsible for analyzing acquisition opportunities and assisted in the capital raising efforts for closing the first hotel fund in Colombia.

Mr. Sanchez earned his MBA from the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania and his BBA in Economics from the University of Miami.
