Gretta Sonkin

Gretta Sonkin joined Longpoint Property Group in 2020 as Vice President of Accounting. Ms. Sonkin contributes over 20 year of experience in the commercial real estate industry, which includes broad knowledge in all areas of accounting and property management.

Prior to joining the Longpoint team, Ms. Sonkin was a controller with Avison Young servicing its management portfolio consisting of both commercial and retail properties. She was responsible for all aspects of property management accounting for institutional owners including monthly reporting, reforecasting and budgeting, annual tenant operating expense reconciliations, as well as management of internal controls and lease administration.

Prior to Avison Young, Ms. Sonkin was a senior portfolio accountant with Kwartler Associates, Inc. for 17 years (subsequently acquired by Avison Young). She participated in growing the accounting team for the third party management platform which primarily consisted of institutional clients.
