Joshua B. Kay

Joshua Kay joined Longpoint Realty Partners in 2020 as a Vice President focusing on acquisitions in the Northeast and Mid-Atlantic regions. He has ten years of real estate investment experience.

Prior to joining Longpoint, Mr. Kay was a Vice President at AEW Capital Management where he was a member of the Direct Investments Group acquisitions team and was responsible for sourcing, underwriting, negotiating and closing new investment opportunities primarily in the Greater Boston area. During his tenure at AEW, he led or assisted in the closing of $1.1 billion of transactions across the eastern US. Prior to joining AEW, Mr. Kay was an Associate at Evercore, a New York-based investment bank, and was a member of the firm’s real estate advisory business. In his time there, he was involved with a broad range of M&A, restructuring, recapitalization and capital raise transactions that had an aggregate value of $10 billion.

Mr. Kay earned his BA in Economics from the University of Pennsylvania, and graduated with cum laude honors. He is an active member of NAIOP, the Urban Land Institute (ULI) and the Real Estate Finance Association (REFA).
