Robert A. Provost III

Founding Partner at Longpoint Realty Partners

Robert A. Provost III is a Founding Partner of Longpoint Realty Partners. Mr. Provost has over 30 years of commercial real estate and finance experience in acquisitions, dispositions, operations, and business development. He oversees the acquisitions process and is responsible for acquisitions in select markets in the Northeast, Mid-Atlantic, and Southeast and is a member of Longpoint’s Investment Committee.

Prior to co-founding Longpoint, Mr. Provost was a partner in the acquisitions group at TA Associates Realty, one of the nation’s leading owners, operators, and developers of commercial real estate. During his tenure at TA, Mr. Provost acquired investment properties totaling over $1.7 billion across multiple asset classes along the East Coast and was a member of the firm’s acquisition committee. Previously, Mr. Provost was senior vice president and director of real estate acquisitions and dispositions for the Eastern United States for KBS Realty Advisors, where he acquired over $1 billion of properties. He started his career in the real estate and restructuring departments at First National Bank.

Mr. Provost holds an MBA from Boston University, where he graduated cum laude and was selected as a member of Beta Gamma Sigma, representing the top 10% of his class. He earned his BA in economics from the University of Vermont. Mr. Provost is a member of the International Council of Shopping Centers and is a licensed real estate sales broker in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts.
