Dan Kupp has a diverse work experience spanning various industries and roles.

Dan started their career in 2008 as a Research Assistant at Laser Zentrum Hannover, e.V., where they conducted research on laser technology in manufacturing.

In 2009, Dan worked as a Production Engineer at EaglePicher Medical Products, focusing on troubleshooting and refining manufacturing processes for medical batteries.

Dan then joined Alterra Power Corporation in 2010 as a Project Engineer, where they were involved in the construction, commissioning, and maintenance of wind farms and run-of-river hydro plants.

From 2011 to 2013, Dan worked at SNC-Lavalin as a Project Engineer, gaining experience in project management, mechanical equipment design, and procurement for mining and transportation projects.

In 2013, they joined Wood as a Measurement Team Leader, specializing in lidar projects, technical due diligence, and power performance testing in the renewable energy sector. Dan also contributed to the establishment of the company's Texas office.

Most recently, Dan has been working at Longroad Energy Partners since 2020 as an Assistant Project Manager, contributing to project management activities in the renewable energy industry.

Throughout their career, Dan has demonstrated adaptability, technical expertise, and project management skills in various roles and industries.

Dan Kupp received a Bachelor of Applied Science (BASc) degree in Mechanical Engineering from The University of British Columbia, where they studied from 2006 to 2011. Dan obtained additional certifications throughout their career, including becoming a Project Management Professional (PMP) from the Project Management Institute in December 2020, acquiring Wind Turbine Climbing and Rescue certification from Safety Technology USA - GWO Certified in July 2018, and becoming a Professional Engineer from Engineers & Geoscientists BC in October 2014.
