Jarrell Julien

Jarrell Julien has a blend of technical and management experience in the renewable energy industry, particularly in solar operations and engineering. Jarrell currently works as a Solar Operations Engineer at Longroad Energy. Prior to this, they served as a QC Manager and PV Engineer at Joule Energy, where they focused on quality control and photovoltaic engineering. Jarrell also worked as an Electrical Designer at Sunpro Solar Energy Specialists. Before transitioning to the solar industry, Jarrell gained experience as a Service Engineer and Lead Solar Tech at Solar Alternatives, and as a Manager/Lead Installer at Gulf South Solar. Jarrell began their career as a Home Theater Specialist at Best Buy and a Sales Associate at Journey's. In their early professional years, Jarrell held a leadership position as the Head Rides Supervisor at Dixie Landin, where they were responsible for ride supervision and operational planning.

Jarrell Julien received their high school diploma from Ascension Catholic High School in 2003. Jarrell then pursued a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Electrical Engineering at Southern University and Agricultural and Mechanical College at Baton Rouge, where they studied from 2003 to 2010. Jarrell successfully completed their degree and obtained the B.S. in Electrical Engineering. In 2017, they earned an OSHA 10 certification from the American Safety Council, Inc. Additionally, in 2019, they obtained the NABCEP PV professional certification from the North American Board of Certified Energy Practitioners.
