Thomas Siegel

Thomas Siegel has extensive work experience in the energy industry, specifically in transmission. Thomas most recently served as the VP of Transmission at Longroad Energy Partners since May 2018. Prior to that, they held the same role at 8minutenergy Renewables, LLC from September 2016 to May 2018. Siegel also worked at SunEdison as VP of Transmission from February 2015 to June 2016. Thomas was the Vice President of Transmission at First Wind from October 2009 to January 2015. Before that, Siegel was the Manager of Transmission Operations Engineering at Pacific Gas & Electric from March 2007 to October 2009. Thomas started their career at California Independent System Operator as the Manager of Operational Compliance from January 1999 to July 2003. Siegel also worked as a Supervising Power System Engineer at Pacific Gas & Electric from February 1997 to January 1999 and as a Transmission Management Engineer at PECO Energy from July 1989 to February 1997.

Thomas Siegel obtained a Bachelor's degree in Power System Engineering from Ohio University, where they studied from 1983 to 1987. Following this, they pursued a Master's degree in Power System Engineering and Control Theory, also at Ohio University, from 1987 to 1989.
