La Mont Taylor has a diverse professional background, currently serving as the General Sales Manager at Longship since July 2019, where responsibilities include managing sales operations in a fast-paced logistics environment that requires 24/7 communication. Prior to this role, La Mont was an Elementary School Teacher at Fayette County Public Schools in Kentucky from August 2011 to 2018, focusing predominantly on 5th grade English Language Arts. La Mont holds a Master of Arts in Elementary Education and Teaching from the University of the Cumberlands, earned between 2009 and 2011, as well as a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration and Management from Brescia University, completed from 2001 to 2004.
