Karla Beard

Karla Beard has over three decades of diverse experience in procurement and contract management. Currently serving as a Sr. Procurement Specialist at Longview Fibre since May 2010, Karla's expertise includes managing national supplier contracts and commodities, overseeing end-to-end RFP processes, negotiating terms, resolving issues, and maintaining supplier relationships. Prior to this, Karla worked at Weyerhaeuser from August 2000 to December 2009 as a National Contract Administrator/Analyst, where responsibilities included managing 34 supplier contracts and coordinating SAP procurement data conversion. Karla's career began at N C Machinery Co from May 1990 to August 2000, starting as a Sales Secretary and progressing through roles including Executive Administrative Assistant, Branch Office Manager, and Human Resources Representative. Karla holds a B.A. in Business Administration from the University of Washington, earned between 2003 and 2007.
