Kit Harris currently serves as Chief of Staff at METR, a position held since March 2024. Concurrently, Kit is an Advisor and Programme Officer at Longview Philanthropy since December 2018, where responsibilities include providing donor education, research, and grant recommendations. Previous experience includes work in impact evaluation and outreach at The Centre for Effective Altruism from December 2017 to December 2018, and as a Trader at J.P. Morgan from June 2014 to December 2017, during which Kit donated more than 50% of income. Kit holds a first-class degree in Mathematics from the University of Oxford, earned between 2011 and 2014.
