John Hancock

John Hancock is an experienced educator and social media marketing specialist with a diverse background in teaching, fundraising, and forensic interviewing. Currently serving as a Primary School Teacher at Longview School District since September 2016, John is responsible for establishing classroom behavior norms and evaluating student performance. Concurrently, John has maintained a successful YouTube channel with over 126,000 subscribers, focusing on outreach and education related to video games. As the founder of Cowlitz Gamers for Kids, John organized an annual video game show fundraiser, benefiting nonprofits in Cowlitz County. John's past roles include part-time instructor at Portland Community College, forensic interviewer at the Children's Justice & Advocacy Center, freelance writer for Video Game Trader, and WISe Therapist at Cowlitz County Guidance Association.
