Longview School District

We are a 6300-student school district located in Southwest Washington at the confluence of the Columbia and Cowlitz rivers. Our district includes a special education preschool; eight elementary schools; three middle schools; and three high schools, one of which provides alternative education options. The mission of the Longview School District is to ensure that every student learns the skills, attitudes, and knowledge to become a responsible citizen in a rapidly changing society. This is accomplished by focusing on results: through a partnership of students, staff, parents, and community; in a supportive, caring, innovative environment; with a commitment to challenge each learner to reach their potential. Fun fact: Our town was designated one of America’s 10 prettiest by Forbes magazine!
