Matt Lien

Matt Lien is an experienced professional in fundraising and compliance with a strong background in athletics and investor relations. Currently serving as the Director of Investor Relations at LongWater since April 2022, Matt focuses on attracting investors aligned with the mission of enhancing American manufacturing. Prior to this role, Matt was the Managing Director of Development at the NDSU Foundation, overseeing major gift fundraising and strategic planning. Matt also held positions at North Dakota State University as the Assistant Director of Athletics - Development, and at Oklahoma State University and the University of South Dakota as a Compliance Coordinator, ensuring adherence to NCAA rules. Matt earned a Doctor of Law degree from The University of North Dakota School of Law and a Bachelor's degree from Augustana University.
