James Foster

James Foster is an advisor at Longwood Fund. James was previously the head of strategy at ImmuneID from December 2020 to June 2021. James raised $50M for the company's series A, acquired incubator lab space, and led the indication prioritization and strategy prior to CSO hire. James was also a principal at Longwood Fund and a fellow at 5AM Ventures from January 2020 to June 2020. Prior to that, they were a Damon Runyon Postdoctoral Fellow at Harvard Medical School from September 2017 to June 2020.

James Foster received their PhD in neuroscience from Baylor College of Medicine and their BS in biology from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.
