Lucy Liu

Senior Associate at Longwood Fund

Lucy Liu is a Senior Associate at Longwood Fund. Prior to joining Longwood, they served as the Head of Strategy at ImmuneID from December 2020 to June 2021. Lucy has also held positions as a Principal at Longwood Fund and a Fellow at 5AM Ventures. Lucy began their career as a Damon Runyon Postdoctoral Fellow at Harvard Medical School from September 2017 to June 2020.

Throughout their career, Lucy has been involved in raising capital, acquiring incubator lab space, and leading due diligence efforts. Lucy has also worked with management teams to interview and hire early R&D teams, and has led indication prioritization and strategy prior to CSO hires.

Lucy’s work has been instrumental in the development of therapeutics for autoimmunity, severe allergy, oncology, and infectious disease. Her research has been published in numerous peer-reviewed journals, and they are a recipient of the Damon Runyon Cancer Research Foundation Award.

Lucy Liu has a PhD in Neuroscience from Baylor College of Medicine and a BS in Biology from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.
