Longwood Gardens
Nick D'Addezio has extensive work experience in marketing and communications. Nick is currently serving as the Vice President of Marketing and Communications at Longwood Gardens, a position they have held since September 2022. Prior to this, they were the Associate Vice President of Marketing at the same company from November 2021 to September 2022. Before joining Longwood Gardens, Nick worked at ConnectEDU as the Senior Director of Go to Market for a brief period in 2014. Nick also has experience at Ellucian, Inc. where they served as the Director of Marketing Operations from May 2012 to November 2013. Additionally, Nick worked at SunGard Higher Education, where they held the roles of Marketing Director from June 2008 to May 2012 and Senior Manager, Account Analyst from June 2004 to June 2008. Throughout their career, Nick has demonstrated their ability to manage teams, generate revenue, and develop strategic marketing programs.
Nick D'Addezio pursued their education from 1994 to 1998 at La Salle University, achieving a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration with a major in Marketing. Nick then proceeded to Drexel University, where they pursued their MBA from 2001 to 2003, with a specialization in Marketing.
Longwood Gardens
In 1906, industrialist Pierre du Pont (1870-1954) purchased a small farm near Kennett Square, PA, to save a collection of historic trees from being sold for lumber. Throughout his life, Mr. du Pont indulged his passion for gardening, turning his farm into a magnificent horticultural showplace. Today, Longwood Gardens is one of the great gardens of the world, encompassing 1,077 acres of gardens, woodlands, meadows, fountains, a 10,010-pipe Aeolian organ and a 4-acre grand Conservatory. Longwood continues the mission set forth by Mr. du Pont to bring joy and inspiration to everyone through the beauty of nature, conservation, and learning. Longwood Gardens offers a breadth of mission programming that includes exhibitions, musical performances by top artists, renowned horticulture education programs, horticulture research, environmental stewardship and cultural and community engagement.
