Angela McDonald

Angela McDonald serves as the Dean of the College of Education, Health, and Human Services at Longwood University since June 2022. Prior to this role, Angela McDonald was the Founding Dean of the School of Health Studies and Education at Saint Joseph's University from July 2019 to June 2022. At the University of North Carolina at Pembroke, Angela McDonald held the position of Professor from August 2008 to May 2019, during which time involvement included Program Director for Counseling, Department Chair, Associate Dean in the School of Education, and Interim Dean of the College of Health Sciences. Angela McDonald began her career as a Counselor at East Carolina University from June 2005 to July 2008. Educational qualifications include a PhD in Counselor Education and Supervision from William & Mary, a Master of Science in Education in Community Counseling from Old Dominion University, and a Bachelor of Science in Human Services Counseling, also from Old Dominion University.
