Lauren W. Whittington

Lauren W. Whittington is an accomplished Senior Writer & Media Specialist at Longwood University since September 2017, showcasing extensive experience in writing and media roles. Previously, Lauren served as Marketing Manager & Customer Service Representative at Featherstone Farm Seed from January 2014 to August 2017 and worked as a Resolutions Writer for the Division of Legislative Services during the 2017 Virginia General Assembly session, where responsibilities included writing over 300 resolutions under tight deadlines. With a solid background at Roll Call from June 1999 to May 2013 in various editorial capacities, Lauren also gained early experience through internships with the Women's Campaign Fund, Don Beyer for governor, and the Democratic Party of Virginia.
