Betsy Nortrup

Betsy Nortrup has been working in various roles since 1990. Betsy began their career as Co-owner of Nortrup Computer Projects, specializing in Intellectual Property Law. From 1997 to 2007, they worked for Pratt & Whitney as an Overhaul & Repair Accounts Billing, and for AFS Intercultural Programs as a Hosting Coordinator - Volunteer - Downeast Maine. Betsy then moved to Strategic Patents LLC in 2007 as an Intellectual Property Specialist. In 2013, they started working as a Virtual Assistant for Elance-oDesk and HaveToSeeIt Photo Restoration, where they were Co-owner, restoring old, faded, stained or folded photos to their previous beauty. Since 2015, they have been working as a Virtual Assistant for Upwork.com, and since 2020, they have been working as an Operations Manager for LonoLife.

Betsy Nortrup attended the University of Southern Maine from 2005 to 2007, where they gained experience in Deaf Studies but did not obtain a degree. Betsy then went on to the University of New Hampshire, where they obtained a Bachelor of Science in Biology/Biological Sciences, General from 1977 to 1979. Additionally, Betsy obtained a Bachelor of Science in Biology, Genetics from the University of New Hampshire-Durham during the same time period.
