Ed Venegas

Ed Venegas serves as the Associate Director of Cell Therapy Manufacturing at Lonza since March 2021, bringing extensive experience in the biotechnology and pharmaceutical industries. Prior to this role, Ed held multiple positions at Genentech from February 2010 to February 2021, including Senior Manufacturing Manager and Drug Product Manufacturing Manager. Career beginnings involved roles at companies such as Zach Systems as an Analytical Development Chemist and at Introgen Therapeutics, Inc. as a Quality Control Coordinator. Ed’s foundational experience was gained at Tanox, Inc., where various quality control roles were fulfilled from August 2001 to February 2007. Ed holds a degree from Texas A&M University.
