Helge Friedrich Tippmann

Helge Friedrich Tippmann, PhD, CPIM, currently serves as the Director and Head of Sales & Operations Planning for the Small Molecules Division at Lonza since July 2020, overseeing global processes and leading a team of Planning Specialists. Prior experience includes roles at Novo Nordisk as Senior Category Manager and Senior Project Manager, where responsibilities encompassed strategic sourcing and management of global outsourcing activities in the pharmaceutical sector. Tippmann has also held positions at ALK Abelló, AGC Biologics, and other notable organizations, focusing on project management, compliance, and analytical development. Academic credentials include a PhD in Plant Molecular Biology from the University of Copenhagen and a background in biotechnology and fermentation technology from Technische Universität Berlin and the University of Bonn. Additional training includes a certificate in Learning Leadership from IMD.
