John Davis

John Davis is an accomplished manager and expert in operational technology and digital strategy, currently leading a team at Lonza since July 2013. Responsibilities include overseeing the digital roadmap for the Slough/Cambridge site and leading continuous improvement projects that yield substantial savings. Throughout various roles, including Associate Principal Informatics Scientist and Lead Informatics Scientist, John has demonstrated expertise in systems integration, laboratory informatics, and data analysis. With a PhD in Computational Chemistry from the University of St Andrews and a strong educational background in Chemistry and Analytical Chemistry, notable achievements include Six Sigma Green Belt certification and successfully delivering key innovation projects. Prior teaching experience includes demonstrator roles at multiple universities, where instruction covered various chemistry topics.
