Matthew Chapas

Matthew Chapas is an experienced leader in supply chain and program management, currently serving as the Head of Program Management at Lonza since August 2021. Previously, Matthew held various senior roles, including Senior Director of Supply Chain at ChemoCentryx and Senior Director of Manufacturing and Supply Chain at Dermira, Inc., where responsibilities included overseeing manufacturing operations and establishing supply chains for clinical programs. With a background at Gilead Sciences and Boehringer Ingelheim, Matthew has demonstrated expertise in process validation, operational excellence, and supply chain strategy development. Matthew holds a Bachelor of Science in Chemical Engineering from Villanova University and is pursuing a Certified Supply Chain Professional certificate from APICS.
