Miranda Vaughan

Miranda Vaughan is a highly skilled engineering professional with significant experience in the biotech and research sectors. Currently serving as an MES Engineer II at Lonza since November 2021, Miranda previously held positions as a Failure Analysis Engineer and Associate Failure Analysis Engineer at Insulet Corporation from May 2020 to November 2021. Earlier experience includes working as an Undergraduate Research Assistant at Brichacek Research Lab at the University of Maine, where research focused on selective glycosylation and peptide synthesis/modification, and as a Teaching Assistant in various chemistry and biomedical engineering courses at the University of Maine. Miranda holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Biomedical Engineering from the University of Maine, earned in 2020. Additional early work experience includes roles in food service and participation in the VT EPSCoR Leaves of Green Workshop.
