Roger Nitsch is an accomplished professional in the field of medicine and neuroscience, currently serving as the CEO and President of Neurimmune AG since 2006. In addition to this role, Nitsch has been a Member of the Board of Directors at Lonza since May 2022 and holds the position of Professor emeritus at the Institute for Regenerative Medicine at Universität Zürich, a role maintained since 1999. Prior professional experiences include serving as Research Group Leader at the Center for Molecular Neurobiology at the University of Hamburg from 1995 to 1999, and an Instructor at Harvard Medical School from 1990 to 1995, along with a postdoctoral fellowship at both the Massachusetts Institute of Technology and the University of Heidelberg. Nitsch holds MD degrees in Biochemistry and Physiology from the Max Planck Society and in Medicine from Heidelberg University.
