Silke Zentner

Silke Zentner is an experienced finance and business leader currently serving as the VP and Head of Global Business Services Organization (GBSO) at Lonza since October 2022, overseeing a global team of approximately 300 with primary shared service centers in Manchester, UK, and San Jose, Costa Rica. Prior to this role, Silke spent over 21 years at Novartis in various senior finance positions, including Lean Digital Core Finance Controlling Lead and Global Business Lead for Central Finance & S/4HANA, where responsibilities included leading a USD 140 million ERP investment project. Additional roles at Novartis encompassed Head of Management Information, Global Head Controlling, and CFO for North & Central Europe, demonstrating a strong track record in financial leadership and strategic innovation. Earlier career experience includes roles in investor relations at BASF and Edelman Public Relations Worldwide. Silke holds a Master's degree in Economics from Albert-Ludwigs-University in Freiburg, Germany.
