Look Good Feel Better UK

Established 29 years ago Look Good Feel Better UK is a cancer support charity providing advice and support with both the physical and emotional side effects of treatment. To date it has provided support to over 204,000 men, women and young adults during their cancer journey. Both in our face to face and virtual workshops, experienced volunteers given advice around a number of issues that they may be facing, such as; dry, sensitive skin; redness; sallow skin; recreating missing eyebrows and for the men, local barbers offer advice on shaving, skin issues, scarring and sun protection. The most important element of our service is that it brings people together who are all going through similar challenges, giving them a safe, inclusive and welcoming space to share experiences, learn new skills and chat to each other. We have over 1,000 volunteers who help run the Workshops, if you have a skincare, beauty, nailcare, haircare or barbering background and would like to donate your time, then please get in touch at info@lgfb.co.uk. Or if you would like to support the charity in another way, please email hello@lgfb.co.uk.
