Alejandro Pozo

Alejandro Pozo has worked in various roles in the tech industry since 2007. In 2007, they completed an internship at Grupo Integrado de Ingeniería. From 2008 to 2009, they worked as a Junior Consultant at Management Solutions. In 2010, they began their PhD studies at Basque Center for Applied Mathematics, where they worked on the simulation of large-time evolution problems, analyzing the propagation of the sonic boom and studying the asymptotic behavior of a nonlocal nonlinear model. In 2015, they began working as a Programmer at Innovalia Association. From 2017 to 2021, they worked as an AI Developer at Sherpa, where they were responsible for the definition and implementation of user profile models for the recommedation systems of Sherpa Platform, the analysis and extraction of behavior patterns from data obtained from a virtual personal assitant app, and the development of a personalized content recommender API. Alejandro currently works as a Data Analyst at Lookiero.

Alejandro Pozo obtained a Bachelor's degree in Mathematics from the Universidad del País Vasco/Euskal Herriko Unibertsitatea between 2004 and 2009. Alejandro then obtained a Master's degree in Mathematical Modeling, Statistics and Computation from the same institution between 2010 and 2011. Finally, they obtained a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Mathematics from the same institution between 2011 and 2014. In addition, they have obtained various certifications from Coursera and Databricks, including the Programa Especializado - Google Data Analytics from Coursera in 2022, the Associate SQL Analyst Accreditation from Databricks in 2021, and the Aprendizaje Automático from Coursera in 2016.
